WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF 'IL TERZO POSTO '?

The name 'Il Terzo Posto', italian for 'the third place', comes from sociologist Ray Oldenburg's books 'The great good place ' and 'Celebrating the third place' in which he explains that the first place is our homeland the second place is our work.

The third place is a social space where people gather to have a good time, a place to relax: a bar, a community centre, a club, an arts-and-craft centre or any other hangout.

In fact Oldenburg advocates that to live a balanced, happy life, people need engagement in these three realms: at home, at work and in third places, to find connection, sociability and creative interaction.

WHAT DO WE PROPOSE?

as a warming up, either in the garden or inside depending on the weather.
You will be guided by a renowned, certified Pilates instructor with 18 years teaching experience.
a buffet with a wide variety of nutritious home-cooked dishes from locally sourced produce will be served on the veranda (vegetarian or vegan upon request)
to re-establish muscular equilibrium.
Everyone will be free to leave, to have a walk in the mountains (0 minutes distance), to enjoy an aperitivo (the first option on a mere 5 minutes distance) or to have a dip in the lake or the nearby swimming pool (15 minutes distance).
Or, you could visit the Spa in the nearby Castelbrando Castle (5 minutes distance).
That's just to pick a few options from a wide variety of nearby activities.

We are on the 90 km long Prosecco Route which leads from Conegliano (half an hour distance) to Valdobbiadene (20 minutes distance) which means there are plenty of 'Cantine' to visit for wine tastings and tours.

The Prosecco Region has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019 for its scenic beauty.

There are numerous trails that wind through woods and fields to explore on foot or by bike.
